sigh, stop fucking up the X-Men please
And people thought the Captain Marvel trailer was underwhelming.
Can't wait to see Charles and Erik disagree again, a mutant side with Erik again, rando mutants made up for the movies again, Jennifer Lawrence stink up the movie again, for FOX to ignore the source material again, etc.
Bring 'em home, Feige. Wanda needs to meet her dad.
i can't believe they are literally retreading the same story as in X2... my god are they stupid
X3*
It's all gone wrong.
I never watched X-Men Apocalypse. Didn't care enough. I do wonder though, was there enough build up for the Jean character in this universe to even care? Seems like the same problem Fox has literally always had with it's superhero movies. "Hey, remember that thing you know?! *namedrop in a shitty hastily put together story* Here it is!" Why should we even care this girl who used to be good is going evil because Xavier lied to her? I don't know, maybe I'm just not the target audience for some of these movies anymore.
I don't think so. Like they definitely did try and developed some of the other characters some to make the tease at the end good. But ended up spending (and in Mystiques case wasting) time on bigger Hollywood names which made it hard to really get enough development of newer characters (to this new X timeline) especially since they were trying to basically introduce a whole new team
As far as I’m concerned this movie series ended with Days of Future Past and gave it all some closure.
hold the phone son. Logan is the best movie to ever come out of this franchise
Yeah but Logan can also be seen as kind of a standalone.
Logan is the best movie in the franchise.
Especially imagine that end scene where Wolvy going full beast mode in PG-13. There'd be more cuts than a Taken movie
yehhh to be real everyone is creaming themselves over X-men being folded into the MCU but Fox took some serious risks by going hard-R with Deadpool/Logan that paid off p brilliantly. just hope the Disney acquisition doesn't mean the end of the adult superhero movies we were finally starting to get.
I think Disney execs are on record saying Deadpool at least will stay rated R.
