Narrative will be this wouldn't have happened if we had armed hotel cleaning ladies on every floor.

Is there an infograph or something that shows how many of the past shooters would have been stopped by even the most rigorous of background checks? I'm genuinely curious as most of them tend to have this as their first time offense iirc.
edit: Also what is the most intense proposal short of a ban?
idk, I thought we were generally comfortable with the idea that disarmament is the only effective solution to our gun problem and that all the other suggestions (background checks, etc.) are basically reasonable (but ineffective) window dressing that shows how far we are from the real solution.
How about a realistic solution because there's around a 0% chance that disarmament will ever happen in the US.
Welp found out my dad used to work this event. Woulda worked this year but quit working for the county. lol
Question, did the shooter break the window and start shooting? I am unaware of Mandalay Bay having balconies. In fact I remember staying at a wraparound terrace suite at the Cosmopolitan that had a walking balcony which I thought was a bit weird for Vegas.
Mandalay Bay doesn't have balconies and their windows don't open. Last night people were saying they heard glass shatter and then the shooting started, so it would seem that he did break the window first.
Was a lot of reporting going on last night but it seems that SWAT got there to take him out within minutes of it starting?
Hearing he was retired and had 10 rifles or some shit via twitter. Trump giving his remarks right about now.
ISIS has claimed responsibility for the attack. The terror group claims Paddock converted to Islam months ago, according Amaq news agency.
LVMPD raided his house and found nothing abnormal. Highly doubtful since, as AG once put it, if you stubbed your toe Isis would claim it.
However I will admit there might be a possible link with his Filipino friend and that country's current fight with ISIL. We still don't have a motive so hey who knows.
10 weapons in the hotel. A couple in the house. The guy had no criminal history and lived in a recently built cul de sac.
I wonder how many Jason Aldean fans disagree with assault rifle restrictions
Are any news stations calling this a "Terrorist Attack" or are they simply labeling this as "Mass Shooting" because the shooter was white?
