Plus Alaska is the most male-skewed state, and men are way, way, way more likely to kill people with guns.

Again if by people you mean themselves sure
It's true though - Wyoming has basically no gun legislation and ranks second or third I think in gun deaths, but if you remove suicides it's almost at the bottom.

Family says that they suspect he just snapped. The guy was a "professional" gambler and made tens of thousands of dollars worth of gambling transactions shortly before the shooting. An interesting fact is that he was the son of a psychopathic bank robber who was once on the FBI top ten.
Active shooter at USC campus right now apparently.

Well, an assault weapons ban could stop mass shooters with assault weapons.
But the ammosexuals will immediately say "well they could still buy an assault weapon on the black market or just use pistols or hunting rifles so the ban wouldn't prevent anything" so what is the point really.
I was going to link the mass shooting tracker and say "I'm sure a bunch of these would be prevented under the strictest state's gun laws" but the mass shooting tracker is down right now because a million other people are doing the same thing.

I guess we'll know in the next few hours (or days) but I'm hearing that it is very likely that the guns he used were already illegal
Don't think anything short of government seizing 300million+ guns would have the effect any of us want
Cursory search for me just turned up stuff like the following, class soon or i'd look more.

Basically just saying majority either would not have been stopped or that they would have if laws already on the books in location were enforced, with the only exception being that the vtech shooter may have been stopped with background checks.
