So I got into an argument with a Heat homer who said the Celtics couldn't win 60 next year.

Am I wrong for thinking the Celtics will be great with GH? I think their playoff ceiling is pretty meh but they'll wreck house during the regular season.

Is Hayward a good defender? I mean this team is so fucking deep with talent but the ceiling seems kind of low. Reminds me of the Pistons team that won it all with like 2/5 of the defensive ability.

They could, but given they won 53 last year despite a weak point differential, I don't think 60 is likely at all

hayward's a great defender. celtics improved tremendously and gave up no assets for him. meanwhile they have ridiculous flexibility to trade. apparently they're going for marc gasol.

I guess their defense / rebounding will be in question. That Pistons team was solid on the boards. With the East being so weak now I just think they're going to be able to out gun most everyone.

I'd set the O/U for wins around 55. 60 possible but not likely imo, that's a hell of a lot of wins
