I'm not a big Kyrie fan but a few points on his side:

-He's got a ring now, but he won it with Bron, ergo LeBron (deservedly) gets the lion's share of credit for it. I can understand a great player with a great ego wanting to win one where he is the alpha

-LeBron is likely gone next year. You'd think they'd want to give it one last shot but he surely doesn't want to risk being left in Cleveland alone after Bron leaves
