lololololol
The Nets are the more appealing option in New York, wonderful.
The Knicks had just extended Phil for another 20 mil too
Chris Paul to Houston per Woj
Edit : Paul opt in and trade;
Beverley, Decker, Williams and 2018 FRP for Paul
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm isnt harden at his best with the ball in his hands? thanks for nothing san antonio
I didn't understand the Rockets trying to get CP3 for just that reason, and even less with how much they just gave up.
The Rockets gave up a 1st round pick for Lou Williams just a few months ago and are now dumping him as part of the deal too
no matter what harden is, Paul is still better controlling it. the real mismatch might actually be Mike d and Paul cause one likes to plod and the other to fast.
Ugh this is so meh
Well if you're the rockets I think it makes sense, CP3 is a great player and he gives your team a higher ceiling if you can somehow figure out the fit. Harden doesn't have to exhaust himself offensively for the entire game to carry them
Would've been more interesting to see him with Spurs or someone else tho
i hope this happens just for the hilarity of it all

Stephen A. Smith reporting that if Carmelo Anthony receives a buyout from the NY Knicks, he'll head to Houston to join Harden and CP3.
Lol it's like the banana boat team but with Harden instead of bron
What if they traded Harden for bron?!
i think you guys are overthinking it. rockets got the best pg in the league for table scraps. people like to shit on chris paul because his teams don't do all that well in the playoffs or for other random reasons but those kinds of things are not at all on him or actual flaws he can't work around.
they went from one of the best teams in the league to one of the best teams in the league with two top 5 players.
i love Bev but that is not very much at all for CP3. Dekker is OK for a young potential bro but Lou Williams was absolutely a net negative given how badly he played for them and that draft pick is gonna be awfully late.
i do think people are overthinking 'they both need the ball!' a little much. the Rox will now have 48 straight minutes (assuming D'Antoni staggers, which he should) of two of the best pick and roll players in basketball running his supercharged offense, Paul is going to be playing with the best collection of shooters he's ever played with, Harden isn't going to destroy himself with a usage rate he physically can't sustain (we all saw how broken down he was by the playoffs) and cripples his D on the other end, and Harden is a damn smart cutter and a damn good shooter who spent a lot of his career playing off the ball, he can adjust.
also seems like this makes it a lot more probable Blake is out of LA. wonder where he'll land.
damn your hide Kisada
CP3 and Harden were determined to play together per Woj
CP3 does go from one of the least spacey to the most spacey teams in the league. Clips were terribly constructed
Rockets will miss Pit Beverley tho
pretty sure they won't miss him since they got someone who is almost immeasurably superior in every way.
I was hoping for CP3, but if the Spurs dump lamarcus, then CP3 made less sense.
how do you guys think we get Blake to the Wizards?
