One day they'll have a buy menu for those which is like leves where you tab between jobs and see what's available for each, instead of the current clusterfuck they have of "DoW, DoW II, DoM" grouping jobs together.

Somebody's optimistic.

I need an adult.
Oh god...thought they were actually saying their ex was the Kraken. But no, just a character named that...who joins in on the thread to defend them.
Ahh this game so often makes me thank my lucky stars that I am of normal intelligence and upbringing.

tl;dr craft log spoils what you'll be asked to make for the next class quests.I really enjoy doing the DoH class quests, as well as wondering what item I'll be required to make next. However, with the way it currently is, the crafting log shows you exactly what items you'll need to make for your Stormblood class quests. Knowing what items you'll be required to craft ahead of time takes away the surprise and fun of learning what they are for yourself when the time comes to make them, and even spoils the conclusion to some class quests in their descriptions.
I would like to propose that the Class Quests items in the Crafting Log be kept a secret until the time comes to make them to avoid such spoilers.
/facepalm
The item itself is one thing, but people say that the description spoils the quest story, which indeed would suck a bit for those who actually care about it.
So about crafting quests.
Spoiler: show
No, you don't understand. When they mouse over the items and read the description in the flavor text, THAT ruins the story. And there's no way to avoid mousing over the item... just like there's no way to avoid looking at the picture you linked in the SPOILER tag. Can't be done!
Same community that bitches about saying placenames is a spoiler like the huge topic that was on reddit recently where someone named Doma Castle and got pissed the fuck off because of "spoilers."
Even though you can see Doma Castle...on the yanxia map.
Whatever happened to things like 'aeries dies" being classified as a spoiler instead of...well, this lol.
My shitpost about Exdeath having a cape (And standing near a portal) got slapped with a spoiler after people cried about it.
And yet that Papalymo title made its way into the game.
People did rage pretty hard about that, and in consequence it was changed. Not fast enough for half the players to get spoiled by it though :D
Then again, it's largely just the English localization that's pretty fuckey.
Somebody in my FC freaked out when we spoke of 'the cool mount from MSQ' (Yol, but we never said the name) and he said: 'no spoilers please'. So we went wtf and asked: ok, how do you even know what mount we talking about? Plenty of options with Magitek armor, Mana clipper or Midgardsomr before even getting to Stormblood.
I spend more time on the OF than I had ought to, but here's another gem:
http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...Discrimination
tl;dr - The Rising event is discriminatory against people with dyslexia because the letters are mixed up.
I mean, it's not like the point of the puzzle is to unscramble the letters with the first floor's map or anything.
They said a GM told them to post on the OF to voice their opinion.
Because the GMs know the OF is the dumping grounds for the cesspool of idiots.
The forums though are the only venue for which you can provide feedback, unfortunately.
