Every open-world enemy in XIV is made out of cotton candy, so there's no such thing as "walking death." Similarly, having elementals aggro to magic would really just be annoying, not dangerous.
It's actually annoying that most every mob in a zone will aggro you apart from elementals. In the earlier zones there was at least a mix of aggressive and non-aggressive mobs but after a while everything is just trying to eat your ass and it's annoying.
The last part of Lochs was especially annoying with those shitty salt things that just Scathe you from a million miles away for ages, then they slow you down and you have to fight an easy battle and move on OH SHIT ANOTHER ONE.
If you have mad skills you can turn around on stuff with a cast bar to avoid the heavy. I believe it's only a chance if they hit you from behind while mounted.

Well O1S got downed by multiple groups within 20-25 minutes.
I was honestly expecting sub 1hr considering how easy the extreme primals were. Did A9S even last a full lockout?

lol, nobody has cleared V4S or even come close. Even with full crafted sets, some roles essentially just die to Meteor.
