This morning is seven days alcohol free. I've also lost 3.5 pounds in the one week and that's per my doctor visit/record.

Hell yeah dude you made it a week, and lost some weight, just keep building on that sense of pride, attempt to not let yourself down.

I'm not familiar with Ativan or the side effects, so not much help there but glad to hear it's helping you out man.

Carve out the tooth yourself, I did it to my top wisdoms when I was in college and couldn't afford dental, I used a knife to cut out the gum line and then took a metal spudger and snapped the tooth out. Hurt like a mother fucker and I bled for a good while but it healed and am good. I went to a dentist recently and they asked what happened and I explained to them and they nearly fainted lol.

Jesus what the fuck is wrong with you? Please don't do this shit. Find an urgent care with a dental wing and owe them money for a while. Last thing you want is for an infection to travel through your jaw to your brain. Get a fucking root canal if you need it. Yanking a tooth with an infection that has gone past the gum does fuck all.

Just incase someone needs a reason not to operate on themselves...your teeth are alive incase you didnt know. Which means there are nice fat veins and arteries coming and going to them, and if you operate on yourself and fuck up you can bleed out at the worst, or maybe fuck up bloodflow to the area around. You might break bone, or slip and stab your throat. Just...go to your local university and have a student do it or something.

In seriousness, the "I can quit whenever I want act" is just that, an act. Getting blackout drunk at parties at your age isn't cool. Anyone enabling it should not be doing so and you should seek professional help.

People coming into a thread dedicated to venting issues, sharing progress, or otherwise seeking support don't need to read about your "exploits" as it's more likely to be a trigger for them. If this is a cry for help, then you've heard us say it multiple times before, get professional help. This isn't a game and binge drinking is just another form of the alcoholism you deny.

If you truly don't believe that you're an alcoholic, don't come into this thread with shit like that about how much you drank last night, playing it off like a cool guy. Nobody here is impressed; we're all concerned.

In a thread about substance abuse, I don't think bragging about how you're not an alcoholic even though you blacked out and pissed in your closet doesnt really seem on topic.

I mean it is, in a "yeah this is why I should probably not be an alcoholic" kinda way, but you get what I mean.
