Let me paint the picture.

With 5 minutes and 38 seconds remaining in the 4th quarter, a smile could be seen peacefully resting on my face. The score in my money league was 260 to 280, me. I had a 20 point lead over my opponent who had foolishly played a hamstrung Mariota, who was limited all night, while Kirk Cousins sat on his bench with 65.5 points. The alcohol was flowing, the food was simmering, and the women were cheering. Life was good. Then... one play... changed everything.

It’s 1st and 10 on their own 47 yard line. The Titans had just came off a drive of successfully running the ball with their great 2-headed RB monster tandem. The announcers mention that this would be a great time for a play-action pass. Mariota fakes the handoff, drops back, looks right, and launches a dime to speedy rookie Taywan Taylor. With that Mariota 53-yard TD, my opponent received a 50+ yard TD bonus, a 300+ yard passing bonus, the standard TD points, as well as the yardage. My heart skips a beat. I look down at my phone. Pain, agony, and tears fill my eyes. ESPN updates the previous score of 260 to 280. It now reads 280.5 to 280. I stare at my phone in disbelief. Suddenly, the alcohol stops flowing, the food stops simmering, and the women stop cheering. As I am brought back to reality, I realize that none of those things were there in the first place. All just a figment of my blissful imagination before “the play.” My hopes and fantasy dreams had become a nightmare. RIP my joy.

This. You guys must be running every sort of bonus out there, down to getting +10 points if they scratch their junk on camera.

Lol, the scoring is nuts. Our commissioner likes big numbers so everything is just amplified and bonuses for milestones. Also IDF and super limited bench. Only 3 bench slots and they have to one of each QB, RB, and WR because of position restrictions. Can’t hoard players. Have to adjust week in and week out.

Here’s the kicker, 280 was without a 2nd RB because 2 of my RBs were on a bye, 3 max can be on your team. Didn’t want to drop Zeke or Shady, so I rolled shorthanded. Almost pulled it off. Should have pulled it off...

He's had one good game by fantasy standards, and in spite of the teams record he's still fucking garbage.

I've been wanting to start him too with ar12 out but everyone everywhere has him as absolute last because he's basically a backup that's about to lose his starting job midway through any game.

Even SF and GB qbs are rated higher and Blake seemingly has a great matchup.

Something fishy is going on with the ESPN fantasy app. In my previous story, I spoke about the recent loss, 280 to 280.5. For the past 2 days, ESPN had me listed as 3rd in my league at 4-2. I go check my lineup/waivers this morning and it says I am now 2nd place at 5-1. I check last week’s score and it says that I won 280.5 to 280. I go to look for stat corrections and can’t find players on either of our teams that were adjusted. Even if one of our players got a stat adjustment, one of our scores would remain the same while the other’s would move up or down. In this instance, our scores swapped. We both had an adjustment.

I fully expect them to swap it back by the week’s end. This is crazy.

I recommend anyone with QB issues to pick up Tyrod and roll with him the rest of the season. Rest of season goes as follows:
TB, OAK, @NYJ, NO, @LAC, @KC, NE, IND, MIA, @NE

Those are some soft defenses. He won't have a high ceiling, but at least he has a high floor.
He's the 24th ranked QB on NFL.com atm so chances are he's available.
