For me it's not so much no one can replace Robin Williams as The Genie, I'm just not sure Will Smith is the one to do it.

No one is making you go see them.
Jungle Book remake was better than the original
So far I've liked the remakes, it just seems apparent Disney is trying to move away from the hand-animated masterpieces and cash in on the 90s nostalgia like everyone else is doing. It's going to work, and it's going to work well.
I fully anticipate there being a live-action Tarzan, Brave, and Princess and Frog at some point too. Maybe even Hunchback and Hercules.
They can't live in a world where Aubrey Plaza exists and not make a live-action Hercules.
You're dead to me.
Kevin Sorbo needs to make a cameo in the reboot cause he is truly the best hercules.

DISAPPOINTED
what is wrong with you people
Dunno how we got here but Kevin Sorbo and Lucy Lawless will forever have a special place in my heart.
Even if they laid on the camp at times, we need more fantasy TV shows in that vein.
I have no clue why people like Kevin so much.
It's literally the only thing he's ever done, and he didn't even do that great.
The show was campy when campy was cool. Xena too. Both are jjuusstt old enough for my nostalgia goggles to have full effect.
I do recall enjoying the first few episodes more than the later ones, where the show was named for that episode versus the later ones where it was just the legendary adventure of the week. Not that the first few werent the same but still.
