Didnt this go through reshoots after a screening? I'm not gonna knock this or its cgi; beauty and the beast surprised me with how not terrible it was, and I assume this would be more of the same.

Straight to DVD is like it's own little world that Disney for the most part ignores and isn't considered part of the story. Lion King is like the one exception as that's the only one that has merch from the D2DVD sales in the parks.
