The victim, Sean Reed, was live-streaming himself on Facebook when he was shot. Unknown to the police, Reed was recording as he was gunned down and the officers had no clue that after shooting him, they could be heard sharing a laugh over his dead body.

multiple timestamps (14:15 amongst others) show he had a gun. And he says he does (9:15).

Police storm wrong apartment in wrong apartment complex looking for a suspect they already had in custody. They begin breaking into apartment without announcing themselves, boyfriend of occupant fires at them and they spray through the door, killing the occupant, an EMT.

No police have been charged. Boyfriend arrested for attempted murder of a police officer.

The police department that was in charge of the Ahmaud Arbery case has a history of controversy.

In 2018, Glynn County Police Lt. Robert Sasser killed his estranged wife and her friend, before taking his own life. The wife's family is now suing the police department because they say authorities failed to intervene before the murders.

Sasser had a well-documented history of problematic behavior. In 2010, he and another officer were involved in a brutal police shooting when they opened fire on a woman who had led the officers on a low-speed police chase. Sasser avoided punishment and remained on the force.

In 2018, the police department also lost its certification with the state because it did not meet basic policing standards. A report by the International Association of Police Chiefs noted that only 12% of the police force was African American, even though African Americans make up 26% of the county's population.

In 2019, the county's drug task force was disbanded. A state-led investigation found extensive misconduct by Glynn County police officers, including one officer who had sex with a confidential informant.

It got worse yet. Glynn County Police Chief John Powell was indicted for perjury and witness tampering four days after the Arbery shooting. The police chief remains on administrative leave.

'No justice, no peace': Hundreds protest downtown calling for justice in Breonna Taylor case

Hundreds of protesters gathered in downtown Louisville Thursday night outside Metro Hall, calling for justice in the Breonna Taylor case.

After more than six hours of protests, police confirm at least seven people were shot, with one of them in critical condition.

Police also confirm that some arrests have been made, but they are not able to release exactly how many.

The protest erupted just hours after Mayor Greg Fischer held a town hall discussion about the case and community relations with police.

People downtown could be hear chanting, "Not justice, no peace."

LMPD officers could be seen fighting off protesters. Police did release smoke bombs/tear gas that were fired into the crowd.

The charge was dismissed without prejudice though so he can still be prosecuted should new evidence show up and the prosecutor can make a stronger case for it.

They released the 911 call of him on the phone before he fired his gun. I think without this nothing would have made them drop the charges.
