Clerk at a Verizon store in MN shoots a man who was attempting to rob the store. The two apperently exchanged gunfire before the clerk wounded the suspect multiple times.

Shooter was a sophomore and had warned friend's beforehand that he "was going to do something stupid." The person killed was a male and shot in the head. One of those wounded was a girl who was shot in the back as she was fleeing. The shooter was described as "nice and funny and weird."

Little more on the guy. He blamed the shooting on a black male wearing a Navy (military logo) hoodie and sporting an afro. He brought the gun from home because campus security isn't allowed to carry guns.

AFAIK it was a standard capacity handgun. Around 3 magazines worth of rounds fired.
