What the fuck Buddy Murphy is in 205 Live???
Holy shit 205 live delivered again today. Gulak went full brutality mode.
Nothing is confirmed but Meltzer is speculating that WWE is going to be ending brand specific PPV events and go back to everything being cobranded, starting in May.
It could be a return of dual-brand, or it could just be since Backlash is literally the "response to things that happened at WrestleMania" show that it will be a dual brand PPV going forward like the big 4.
Even if they go dual brand, I'm not sure this would mean the PPVs would be all that much different. I wouldn't be surprised if most PPVs were something loosely like: Universal + SD Womens + US + Raw Tag, while the next month is WWE + Raw Womens + IC + SD Tag with a few undercard things thrown in. If they did something like that, go-home shows might actually manage to sell the PPVs a hell of a lot better, since they could split the build over two shows. The people are still going to be on basically the same # of PPVs, but they're not so restricted in how they present things on their weekly shows, since a staggered cycle could be a fresher formula. Who am I kidding? This is just a way to get Roman on 12 PPVs a year, right?
I wonder if we just don't make a new thread and break the forum, will 6souls be at fault? :D
I mean, it only says we "might" want to "consider" starting a new thread.
It's not like the forums will self destruct in the next 5 seconds if they don't. . . . .
General WWE III: NJPW Edition
Yeah, my vote would be General Wrassling: I'm not finished with you
It’s gotta be all capitals tho.
Rich Swann and WWE mutually parted ways today.
Well... Speculation for what they'd do if the PPVs go dual brand is that they'd add an hour (oh joy) and just have all the top people from both shows. RIP in advance, midcard.
But hey, if that speculation's got you down, I have good news for you! WWE has signed Mahabali Shera to the Performance Center. There was plenty of time in recent years when I really enjoyed Impact, but this guy was definitely one of the worst parts. Can't wait to see Full Sail doing the Shera Shuffle!
Hearing now that Backlash could be a dual brand PPV because they might do the draft on it.
I wish they’d stop the draft. It killed a LOT of momentum SDL had going last year.
