As long as WWE keeps consciously portraying Smackdown as the B show, there will be a draft to poach whatever was working on Smackdown in the last year.

I miss the brief period where smackdown was portrayed equal to raw/
Traditionally, they would sometimes do a few things, and I'm not just talking about throwing them a token main event every 3 or 4 months. The issue at hand was that they would never really stick to it for a substantial amount of time. 2008 moving WWE Champion HHH to SD in the draft is one thing that comes to mind. Took me a while to find out which year that was, but I really enjoyed reading some of the weird as hell prior draft results.
Oh yeah, and that time when Shane and Stephanie were trying to fight for control of Smackdown a year and a half ago. Right, they didn't know that there was a Raw Commissioner position available.
SD being an afterthought was foreseeable to anyone that remembers the last time they had a roster split. 205 Live was a WWECW, although I heard Trips has made it better recently.
Edge & Rey, Jericho & Benoit, and Los Guerreros. The Smackdown Six. Brock as champ with alternating Big Show or Angle feuds. Eventually TWTT appeared as well. Amazing shows, week in and week out.
Looks like Billie Kay got a boob job and that's why the Iconic Duo has been MIA. Link is probably NSFW even though it's an official wwe.com page

I definitely wanted more Apollo Crews!
Monday on Raw a gauntlet match with the 7 men in the Elimination Chamber match. How peculiar. I like the concept of them trying something new rather than a handicap match or 2 singles (or a tag) and a triple threat or some variant. However, doing this match feels like if they did a normal battle royal 6 days before the Rumble.

I'm reading about all the X-Pac heat Michael Elgin has been getting this weekend (AAW owner said he's not gonna use Elgin anymore, that's how bad it was). It's sad, he's from where I live and I remember he wrestled at a local show less than a week after he was denied entry to the US and I thought it was best to buy some of his merch to support him while he was down. Fast forward to this debacle and it's hard to call myself a fan of his anymore. I hope he can do something sincere to win the fans' trust again.
