He doesn't name anyone, which is probably fair to the talent. There are a number of guys that would do fine on the indies, but I wouldn't be surprised if a lot want to try it that would fail. Really, who saw Cody Rhodes getting this popular when he left? Very few guys leave WWE and become significantly well known. Getting in with Bullet Club helped immensely too. Sandow could've had a place. I think there is hope for Swagger if he develops his own gimmick and drops using the WWE one. The one that strikes me as being able to get to Cody level could be Ziggler. If LIJ wanted a gaijin he'd fit right in. Dye his hair black and be that cocky fucker that he's good at.

Sandow went to TNA with a terrible new name, came up with a new bad gimmick, and left when TNA ran out of money.
Ryback wants a lot of money for indie appearances.
Mastodons on the indies today are doing incredible things. (e.g. Keith Lee, Jeff Cobb)
