Gonna have some time to kill in Nagoya next weekend (3-day weekend). Any recommendations? Not looking to fly anywhere.

Aside from having miso katsu and it being the home of Toyota, I don't know much about Nagoya. Maybe grab a shinkansen to Tokyo or Osaka? It's a REALLY fast trip.

A quick google reveals a dope train museum thing for Japan Rail. Otherwise I'm kinda dry on stuff there.

If you are an Amazon Prime member, you can read almost all the Lonely Planet guides FOR FREE in Kindle format. You just need to google whatever place you'd like and find the older edition that should say "Free for Prime members". The newest editions don't usually have it.

Just did JFK to Rome in economy with Delta. Super highly quality Y product with solid TVs and lots of content. Not a bad dinner either

Can any-zet explain to me why a round trip ticket from assville to dusseldorf is ~$1600, but a 1 way ticket from dusseldorf to assville is $2400+

can I buy 2 round trip tickets and go over alone and she comes back with me on the return trip?

If you don't fly the first leg, it cancels the second leg.

The reason RT's are cheaper is because the only people who buy one-ways are business travelers who have no real budget restrictions.
