The no killing rule seems awkward, makes me wonder if anyone will get disqualified for going at it too hard. With no flying, I wonder if that highground pictured will be a strategic place to take over and focus on ranged to clear the field. Pretty high hopes that it'll be pretty entertaining and we'll see some really good fights or group destruction.

Also curious if weaker characters like Krillin or Roshi will be on dragging knocked out opponents duty. That'd be kind of entertaining.

They really really should have gone with Freeza and Cell for this.... Roshi and Krillin are going to be a huge burden.

Teamwork is going to be important and Frieza would probably try to backstab Goku/Vegeta if he sees them open.

Cell? Cell would work(as he was never truly evil, he just liked to fight), but they're not gonna revive an old enemy then ask him to join.

But Cell has the most potential in the series tbh if he were to train.

Frieza though outright would have 0% chance of going well for them. He hates Saiyans Goku/Vegeta w/ a passion; and I don't think Vegeta would ever willingly work w/ Frieza either.

Roshi can be used as a shield, lol if he rides on Goku's back, lmao the enemies can't attack too hard or they'll get dq'd for killing Roshi lmao

Since this is 100% toriyama's show in terms of direction, with little executive meddling, expect more basic Dragonball: gags, Goku being a selfish dick and cheap humor.

Cell has Frieza's cells, who is able to get as strong as Goku/Vegeta after 4 months of training.

He also has Goku/Vegeta's cells and was shown to have an equiv of ssj2 (yellow aura/lightning)

Access to Goku/Vegeta forms level of strength with the growth rate of Frieza?

If here were alive and to be trained by Whis, for example, he'd easily have potential to be the strongest mortal character in the series. On top of being able to regenerate as well + get Zenkai boost when being nearly destroyed and coming back seconds later

The Grand Priest said they were going to destroy the low ranking universes anyway. If anything Goku gave them a chance at redemption. Same thing with the bergamo fight, if goku threw it, all universes would be destroyed.

If he lost fair and square they would have just had the tournament for entertainment.

not really since Zeno said they were about to delete universes anyways. This way, at least the winning universe can still survive.
