Also, Zeno is talking about strength, or "power level" if we have to go that route, because when Beerus and Kaioshin start bickering to one another, its all about both failing to push for stronger overall evolution of the universe's citizens. Kaioshin gets blamed for wanting to allow mortals to grow and evolve organically (without outside/godly influence) and Beerus gets blamed for being asleep too often to assist in any way.

Why would Zen-ou give a shit about their strength? Is the end goal of all life in the universe to have high power levels? That's absurd.

The tournament of power is only remotely interesting to Zen-ou because it's fun to watch. This is a guy who smashes planets into each other for fun.

Kaioshin was too much of a ninny to look at civilizations like Namek and guide them forward culturally, technologically, etc. Beerus was asleep too often to prune the bad apples like the Cold Empire and Majin Buu who blew up any civilizations that might've been worth keeping. If the end goal was high power levels then kaioshin should've embraced Majin Buu and bred more of them, to hell with everyone else who couldn't withstand the selection pressures.

Bruh you talkin about a show where people get magic beans from a talking cat who lives in a tower in the sky on a world that is protected by a magic green alien and you're talking about absurd.

Honestly, with the history of DBZ/DBS it would be more absurd if he gave a shit about anything besides fighting.

Given how the series dips into nostalgia, it's weird that they're neglecting Cell.
We got new transformations, aliens, Freeza, time-travel, two tournaments, the Z Fighters and a lot of Kais / supernatural beings that tie back to the Majin arc.

I assume bringing back the two androids is their way to homage that arc from DBZ?

I thought the dude in the cloak was potentially Broly. In the opening cutscene it looks like there is a Broly but that makes NOOOO sense so I'm trying to figure out why they just threw him in the opening

Goku's trump card gets brighter and brighter with each use, great way to end that exhibition. The rules of the tournament of power should make things a bit more interesting.

I like that several other universes were taken by surprise at his transformation to blue.

The no killing rule seems awkward, makes me wonder if anyone will get disqualified for going at it too hard. With no flying, I wonder if that highground pictured will be a strategic place to take over and focus on ranged to clear the field. Pretty high hopes that it'll be pretty entertaining and we'll see some really good fights or group destruction.

Also curious if weaker characters like Krillin or Roshi will be on dragging knocked out opponents duty. That'd be kind of entertaining.
