Smashburger offering a $1 burger pass... closest one to me is like 50 miles away
DMV is trying to fuck over my work. So apparently someone made an anonymous phone call reporting that one of our drivers has a health issue that makes him unsafe to drive. DMV wont tell us who or even confirm it's the person we are 99% sure did it. But apparently from this unsubstantiated anonymous report they can and will suspend his license despite the fact he just finished his drivers medical eval a couple of months ago. Pretty sure they are completely BSing as that this point and they wont really tell us anything other than to call again... to be told nothing again. But they gave an out of getting a doctor signing off that he is fit... which would be great if it were that simple. But apparently they want a huge form filled out that is so all encompassing that none of the doctors our drivers know and uses feels comfortable signing off on. I'm like 95% sure what is really going on is they have to investigate anonymous tips and are instead passing the buck onto us to prove it
My wife and I just got done talking about it. She's a CNA and has seen people have seizures and what not so she said one glass of red wine, late at night, and sipped slow. Said it won't kill me and will help with slowing things down. Lord knows where I'd be if she wasn't hear to take care of me and help me through things like this.
I haven't been to been and the pain in my left knee and foot is a dull 4. When talking about it my wife said the pain in my hands that I thought might of been rheumatoid arthritis for months now was probably the beginning of gout all along.
five guys burgers are nothing to write home about
their fries, on the other hand...
In N Out isn't really anything to write home about either unless you are some weirdo that loves thousand island on everything.
Really only burger place I'd write home about is this local chain called Superburger though it's not really super fast food more like diner style
I heard about Habit expanding to Maryland and Virginia from a friend. Now I'm craving a Portabello charburger with the garlic aioli talking about it.
We're considering going to Michael Symon's B-Spot burger joint for the wife's birthday this month. Prices seem very reasonable.
I heard people didn't like In n Out in here.
Y'all are fucking retards.
I believe In n Out and Shake Shack are about the same; they're good fast burger spots, but they don't make anything that's astounding. You can get better burgers from sit-down restaurants or diners if you know where to go, but they are convenient and good quality for fast food.
In n Out is better than Shake Shack. I would choose it errytime. I prefer it to most sitdown places in fact.
In n out is still one of my favorites for the occasional animal style fries and I do like their burgers as well , however I now typically prefer five guys “bowls” since I can load it up with sautéed mushrooms , onions and bacon and extra cheese.
When I was in Texas for business I did have a shake from Shake Shack which was amazing but the burgers looked pretty regular. I do miss whataburger though for sure.
I think one of the best burgers I ever had was in Vegas a few years ago at The Burger Bar : https://www.mandalaybay.com/en/resta...ants_BurgerBar
Their alcoholic red velvet shake was epic as well.
