Keep resubmitting an IT ticket to fix the printer from bleeding magenta on printouts like a fucking Dexter kill scene. Get emails that the issue is resolved. Print out something, still has splatter on the page. Click the button that the issue has not been resolved. Feel like going all out Office Space on this printer.

I've had a sore throat since Friday. some minor body aches as well. no other obvious symptoms, although I've been taking dayquil and ibuprofen so I could be masking something. my thoughts are:
- if it were strep, I'd know because it would be so much worse
- had a flu shot earlier, this is probably the flu but a weakened version?

I hate wavering on the edge of going to the doctor but I think it would be a waste unless it keeps going for a few more days or gets markedly worse. anyone have thoughts?

Demo'ing the kitchen this past weekend to put in new cabinets, sink, faucet, and countertops. Idea was to leave one side so we still had a work surface to prepare meals and leave the sink intact. Wife starts pulling this aluminum (I think) backsplash thing off the wall, but one screw is stripped and she can't get it off. She turns the backsplash vertical and tries to wedge it out. She calls over to me to look at something, and I see her really pulling on it and separating the counter from the wall. I tell her to stop before she causes a leak from the sink.

Couple minutes later she tries to turn the sink on and it's spilling out in the under sink cabinet. Now we have no kitchen sink for 2 weeks unless I want to get parts to repair a sink and faucet we're going to throw out anyway.
