Trying to hide the shame of your racist grandfather?
Almost made it.
At least her grandfather did something. All my ancestors did was have their land taken from them by white men.
And get gassed
One of my camera bodies took a tumble at a job site on Friday. Lens mount is completely busted. I am down one camera body and I need to send this one in for repair which is going to be expensive. Also the lens that was attached to it needs to go in for a checkup. Doesn't look physically damaged but focus seems a little off.
Tried to reply in the old thread, had it pulled up for days and just refreshed. XD Anyways, this might help you look at your great grandfather in a better light.
It doesn't really get to anything relevant until 2:45. More or less, it explains that blackface was Al Jolson's way of getting white American audiences accustomed to black actors while being satirical of white supremacy. They provide quite a bit of testimony that he was wholly for black rights and would befriend them when other whites of the time wouldn't. His actions helped lead to a point that the first show with an all black cast was allowed.
While your great grandfather wasn't Jolson (right?), I think it'd be better to look at his actions as helping to progress the world, rather than to ridicule or shame a portion of it.
Guy claims he drove 300 miles to us without even calling or trying to look up our hours. Like what the fuck man.
Puppy is starting to throw fits if left alone. Walked her for a bit then 5 minutes after I leashed her flipped over the water bowl, dumped the food out of the food bowl and then ate the bowl <.<. All while howling
Ordered a Cloud and Bayonetta amiibo to put up on my weeb shelf and didn't know they'd be so fucking tiny lol.
Oh I do. But I'm just the guy that sometimes takes care of her at work while coworker and his woman are working. Based on conversations she is strict but coworker babies her a bit too much so she throws tantrums when you ignore the cries. Whatever she does it again she goes back in the cage
So grandma just died unexpectantly. Might be last grandparent.
sorry to hear that, man.
At the grocery store buying a 2 for $6.98 item. Cashier can't scan either so has bagger find out how much. Bagger says $4.95. Nope. I have to go and grab the tag. What does cashier do? Rings it up 2x$6.98. This is after giving her the tag showing 2 FOR $6.98. Told her it was wrong. She rings it up AGAIN while still holding the tag. Sheesh....
So found out a cousin of mine (not real cousin, he married my actual cousin in the past) has stage 2, possibly 3 colorectal cancer. Really amazing guy, always been great to the family. He married my cousin and after 3 kids and like 20 years she cheats on him, now this. Our family kind of turned our backs on my actual cousin because of what she did and kept this guy as a member of our family because, shit. No one deserves that.
They have a go fund me up for him, is there any place you guys can recommend i can post it to give him some more visibility?
