Officially got put on the Leadership Team at work on Friday. Nice thing is it's really not more responsibility as I have been doing it all already, but I get an extra 3k a year.

Trouble with sending it; it gets dumped to documents, which isn't always the best guys. And..can be buggy, and not load when you want it to. (It also won't save to the SD card; I hope Amazon will do something about that.)
Mind, I don't pirate much; this is 1. some crochet patterns online (2 of which still will have to go the usual way) and 2. some ebooks the AUTHOR gave me. The AUTHOR.
I'd rather have all of that in ebooks, but Calibre tends to mess up crochet pattern books (scramble the instructions) but it's something, at least! (BTW, said books/patterns were truely free.)

Officially finished Christmas shopping for mom, dad, & brother in 20 minutes total. All done online. Got three gifts each for them that they all wanted and spent less than $150 total. Frugality feeling good.

Customer comes in so I tell him he should probably call ahead to make sure we can help if he gunna come in when not open. Apparently no one has ever mentioned our hours yet because some people can't say the closed word so he just didn't know despite just coming in a few times. Very understanding and glad I could still help that he gave me $10 tip

Finally got new stainless steel appliances installed at our apartment that we got as part of our new lease agreement. New ceramic stovetop , stainless fridge and oven. Was a pain to get scheduled but so much nicer than the 15 year old stuff we had been using this entire time.
We plan to be gone next year anyway but I’ll enjoy it while it lasts.

Once wifey finishes her RN degree and makes good on the 1 year she must stay at her current employer we may look at options. For myself, I at least emailed one of the independent insurance agencies to see if they are hiring.
