Before Tuesday is the best time to order a model 3 for the near future at least, prices for all but the base version jump up 3% or so on Tuesday. The mid-range RWD is the sweet spot right now IMO.

Well, then you really need to order by Monday. Full self-driving package is jumping by, I believe, 4k on Tuesday (back to old pricing) on top of the 3% price bumps. Your spec car will be like 7k more expensive from Monday to Tuesday

Remember this thread?? Well, it finally happened. My old Plantronics headset lost a earpad. Since the earpads weren't replaceable, time to get a new headset. I ended up duct taping the one earpad to them for a temp fix while I saved up.

Today, my new HyperX headset came (dumped on teh front porch as usual; that's where our mailman usually puts packages too big to put in the mailbox); I'm really happy with them so far. Yay new headset! And thank you guys, I wouldn't of known those existed if I hadn't gotten up the courage to ask. But yes, I'd call that a WIN since I really like 'em. ^^

I'm OFFICIALLY OFF THE METOPROLOL! That one is going to the disposal at the sheriff's office soon as I can arrange a ride, and starting tomorrow I'm going to be starting the process of getting rid of the water pill/pee pill. Hopefully in a few weeks, I won't be on HBP meds anymore. ^^ Awesome, awesome awesome; I think it shows the high blood pressure was due to I was like, 100 lbs overweight..

Just started my pilot training. Hopefully going to be in cockpit in 2-3 months, and license in 6 mo’s.

Building hours is just so difficult with a full time corporate job.

Fuuuuck yeah dude. Are you looking to get licensed for personal aircrafts or commercial? I’m interested in getting my license after I finish my MBA. I was talking to a pilot in my neighborhood and he was telling me like 50% of commercial pilots are going to retire in the next 10~ years so it’s a great time to get I to the field.

Definitely thinking commercial but training costs are rather high. So I will attempt to handle it while working full time. At least until after ATPL Theory. Difficult but doable, gonna have to get a bit out of my comfort zone.

Shortage depends on the country but your pilot friend is right, recruiting is now done even cross borders. Airbus released a report stating that there will be a need of hundreds of thousands in not-so-distant future.

bunch of my queer friends are giving me shit about eating at Chick-fil-A and calling me homophobic for doing so. I pointed out that they all eat at places that treat their workers like shit, order from Amazon who has a horrible track record on worker rights, wear sweatshop clothes, etc. They're all just like "BUT TEH GAYS"

I've never had a chick-fil-a but I agree about the Walmart sentiment. In my opinion, those that want to berate someone for choosing to eat or shop at a specific place could most likely be ridiculed about their own shopping and dining habits, and most likely quite easily. My favorite is the idiots with cars. USA USA! Uh dude....your truck came from Mexico.....

I HATE walmart more than other company (Worked there for 5 years when i was young, dirty fucking place). But they sell the super lean meat for almost 2 dollars less a pound than the other two stores by me, which i get almost 10 pounds a week The warps I love are half the cost, office was a few dollars less...... I did the shopping at one store one week and then did a walmart run buying the same stuff (or close to) and it cost almost 40 bucks less..... for one fucking week.

Not going to let my feelings hurt my bank account.
