    I think this is a really good point. If we were still getting the fun modifiers like we did when the game first came out, then I wouldn't have such hatred for the PVP portion. Total Mayhem is actually my favorite mode. But now it just seems to be Deathmatch, 2 versions of Elimination, & Mystery Heroes (also great) all the time.

    I want to play Arcade mode for fun. Move Deathmatch and Elimination modes to a comp playlist or something. Bring back the fun modes like "Healers only".

    2/2/2 role queue is coming to OW. Currently on test server, will also spend 2 weeks on live server with a “Beta season” to tweak it as well.

    Lots of hero adjustments here and there to accommodate this too.

    I get why they are going 2-2-2. Kinda wish they allowed a true flex spot for Tank/DPS (3x healer is cancer anyways) but whatever, let the great "force this meta down your throat" experiment begin.

    And the Brig nerfs are pretty much going to bring her down to dumpster tier/anti dive specialist. But what do I know; I shouldn't have an opinion about this. I haven't played in more than 6 months.

    On one hand it's about time. On the other my biggest complaint is with how players work I still feel like this will be a flop. Watch as both heals are a DPS Lucio/Zen or Roadhog/D.Va as your "tanks"

    Nothing is going to be perfect, but I do think this will be over-all a better experience, and much easier to balance as well.

    I agree completely but dive tanks are a pain in the ass to work with as a support it feels like.

    EDIT: Also apparently Hero 31 got leaked and goes by the name Sigma.

    I really like the change for comp. Had too many lately where we had no tank or one tank as a D.Va (and I can't switch as I am the only healer).

    QP, idk, that should be for fun. But I think it might be good to do it for a little bit so people can actually try to learn how to play the game, and possibly other roles. Only downside I use QP to play dps since I pretty much do fulltime healer in comp. And I know the dps queues will probably be shit.

    They said they're going to have a classic QP mode in arcade which won't have the restrictions.

    It's funny that role queue is addressing two completely opposite issues. In OWL you have to force them to pick DPS and in casual it's to get people to stop picking DPS.

    Players with divergent goals is the bane of every form of public matchmaking in every game. I think that's why I always have a fondness for MMO guilds because you can forms groups that self-selected to have the same interest rather than rolling the dice and hoping your team cares more about winning than the other team. Because even if you tryhard it always ends up with the other team being all tryhards and your team being all filthy casuals.

    Of course in MMOs instead of having to be matched randomly with the noobs, the noobs just complain about how it is unfair that they didn't get all of the same loot.
