I bought an old style PS4 because I found the limited edition uncharted 4 one (like where the console is a different color) for $200 at a Walmart when they were clearing out stock.

What is the difference between the old one and the pro besides 4k support?
Also anyone know what the relative loudness of the fans of the various versions of the ps4's are? My wife refuses to use our ps3 as a bluray player because it is too loud (we have an old school fat ps3) but we need a new bluray player and I might be able to convince her to let me get a ps4 if it isn't too loud.
I have the first run of PS4 and it's whisper quiet.
I have the Uncharted 4 bundle that's a slim. It's very quiet as well. I hear the disc sometimes, but that's usually only when it starts up.
Sweet the 500gb slim uncharted bundle was the one I was looking at. I think I even have a random 1tb drive in my office that isn't being used that I could slap in it if it would work.
How important is the increased storage? 1tb ps4 for $250 with no game or the 500gb ps4 for $250 with Uncharted 4?
PS4 supports an External HD and it's likely cheaper to pick up a copy of Uncharted 4 than an External HD (granted I haven't looked recently). You'll likely want an external HD in the long run regardless.
EDIT: Quick google search says Uncharted 4 is like $10-15 on ebay. If both options are $250, I'd grab the larger HD one
Yeah, I'd say go with more storage too
Payday 2 on steam is free for the first 5 million people who grab it.
Still won't make me reinstall.
I've had that game for ages and never played it. Shit game or community?
It's a decent game. It has gotten better supposedly. And there is support for AI now. I haven't played it in years. I'm only basing this off of 2nd hand information. It is DLC heavy, but only the host needs the DLC to run stuff. You pretty much can piggy back on others who have DLC missions.
Best Buy is having Horizon Zero Dawn, Nio, MLB the Show 17 (PS4) and Prey and GTA V (PS4/XB1) for $32 next week for gamer's club members.
