PS+ has switched over for the month. Grab your Remnant From the Ashes, Farpoint, FF7R if you didn't have it, and Maquette for PS5.
You can also Grab Ratchet & Clank.
This month's Humble Choice isn't bad if you don't have Control.
Control
XCOM: Chimera Squad
ELEX
WWE 2K Battlegrounds
Hotshot Racing
Peaky Blinders: Mastermind
Kingdom Two Crowns
Wildfire
Cyber Hook
Pesterquest
Boreal Blade
Ageless
Chimera squad not as good as the xcom games before it. It also has new mechanics that are good, but characters that are not. Xcom 3 gonna be off the chain tho

Already own Control and Chimera Squad.
Elex alone might be worth the 12 bucks for a new subscriber? Anyone else recommend any other games on there?
Oh right, it's Thursday, get Wargame: Red Dragon from Epic. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Next week is Surviving Mars.
Also, Loop Hero releases today, 15% discount until next week, and there's a demo you can try.
Bought Giana Sisters for $4 on Switch eshop. It is one of the best platformers I've played in recent years. Very fluid, simple and fun gameplay. Music is composed by Chris Hulsbeck, who is the original composer for the C64 version.
Got it for the nostalgia factor and honestly wasn't expecting such a great game overall.
Isn't that the same game series Nintendo C&D'd way back when because it was a basic ripoff of Super Mario Bros?
There was no C&D afair, Nintendo just straight up told them they better stop selling the game because the copyright infringement is so blatant they could sue the hell of them.
Personally, as a kid I enjoyed this a lot more than Mario for whatever reason, never played the new version
Good memory there. Did a google search and apparently they did C&D’d back then (80s?). Now they are releasing it on Nintendo platforms since 2008.
Original Giana Sisters was a bit of a Mario rip off but a damn good one. For Amiga and C64 owners it was more or less the only way to enjoy a Mario-style platformer.
edit:
From “The Guardian” article.
It looks like one way or other they got what they wanted lol.The game was apparently ripped from the shelves in a legal challenge and never seen again. Well, apart from the many homebrew updates, sequels and conversions that have proliferated on a number of platforms.
Gotcha. The name sounded familiar and I remember back when Nintendo were sue happy and hyper protective of their IP.
Never tried the game. Then again I never got into PC gaming until the late 2000s/early 2010s. All I played prior to that was a demo of DOOM, Runescape, and emulation.
