All I really know about the game is it's a bit surreal in an Earthbound sense, has good music, and the main goal is to befriend enemies instead of killing them.

That's all I really know about the game itself. I mostly found out about it since the fandom is kinda cringe

Yeah everyone fawns over that game but I gave it an hour and my god was it lackluster and boring.

Tight controls to be sure, but man I hated the platforming and gameplay. About the only thing I liked about it was how tight the controls were, lol.

I really don't get this too cool for school attitude for Undertale.

It's got a deep narrative that can be both funny and touching and made an impact on the medium of interactive storytelling.

It remains something that's best experienced knowing as little as possible which I guess makes it harder to pitch but if you've gone five years without stumbling into any big revelations about the story or characters it's still worth checking out and apparently it's only four bucks right now.
