Holy shit, I had the 3 month thing but the $.05 daily billing is insane.
How long does that last for?

People on slickdeals are speculating it's a billing error. Regardless if it is, Microsoft can change that option I'm sure whenever they want. I don't use that email for anything other than my W10 login so I never paid attention, but now I will to see if I get any type of notification about billing changes. Hope for the best but don't be surprised if it changes.
They better not fuck me to a $45/year sub after this 3 months ends
mfw im stuck with game pass ultimate and thus couldnt do this
I just got three months free from buying an AMD CPU so I'll have to look into this.
I tried on phone with no success but if you figure it out lemme know

Yeah they fixed it. It says it will charge me 45 bucks in 3 months.
Ah well
Mine says I will be charged the $45 in 3 months too, however it states my current plan is daily charge of 5 cents so it contradicts itself. I guess we'll see in 3 months and worse case I'll open a dispute.
oof lol I was just going to not open the billing option page until I saw what it was doing. and I guess I'll still go that route and then dispute it later

Steam winter sale started today. Not sure if anything groundbreaking is listed.
I'd of sprung for Dark Souls Remastered finally, but I guess they no longer give an extra 50% off for owners of PTDE so meh.
Epic (like every other launcher and game key website) has their sale going on as well. There will be a $10 off $14.99 and above coupon attached to your account. Some examples below using c/p from slickdeals.
https://www.epicgames.com/store/en-US/Watch Dogs 2 $4.99
Tom Clancy's The Division 2 $4.99
World War Z $4.99
Assassin's Creed Origins $4.99
Assassin's Creed Odyssey $13.99
Subnautica $6.24
Subnautica Below Zero $9.99
Rebel Galaxy Outlaw $12.49
Borderlands 3 $28.99
Outerworlds $34.99
Metro Exodus $9.99
Control $30.19
Ghost Recon Wildlands $9.99
& More
Some cool stuff regarding this sale and also the way some games work. First, after making a purchase using the coupon, another coupon will appear under your account. And so will another if you make another purchase. This coupon is valid until May. Verified after making one purchase myself. Others on slickdeals have make multiple purchases.
Second, Uplay games will be allocated to your Uplay account and the Uplay launcher after linking your Uplay account to your Epic account. I linked accounts after purchasing Watch Dogs 2 and verified that it's in my Uplay launcher, therefor you can bypass the Epic launcher if you wanted to when playing a Uplay game purchased from Epic. You should be able to then put the game into your Steam library using the Add A Non Steam Game function. I still need to verify this.
Epic also giving away a free game a day for the 12 days of Christmas, Into the Breach yesterday, TowerFall Ascension today, 10 more to go
all it took was free vidya to become a commie shill, smh
Telltale Games Walking Dead Definitive Edition (contains EVERYTHING plus bonus features and graphic upgrades and UI fixes) is on sale for $25 which is low enough I think to get me to pull the trigger on buying a game collection where I already own 4/6 of the games featured.
Oh shit. I stopped at last episode in first part . Might have to get the collection on Psn
