Grinding out some path of exile
Reminds me of the glory days of D2, loving it so far
I did enjoy path of exile for a while. It is probably the best iteration of a diablo dungeon crawler. I just get bored with them so quickly. Probably because the gameplay/mechanics are nearly identical across all games in the genre.
Started Far Cry: Primal. Gorgeous game but not sure I can handle a game that's 100% subtitles. Concept so far does seem neat and it seems like a game that's quite different from many others.
Doom is a must get for any FPS fan. Graphics are on point. Gunplay is fun. Music is A+ (I listen to the OST while playing other games). Cdkeys.com has it for $8.09 currently and you can get an extra 5% off code from their Facebook page. Completely worth it.
Giving They are Billions a shot. I'm up to the ice level so far. I like that maps start to have little quirks and such to them. Being early access, I hope they really expand on that.
Finally started playing Bloodborne (first time to DS style games) and spent 2 hrs banging my head against Father Gascoigne (just a simple case of needing to "git gud").
Then ended up spending 6ish hrs collectively playing Horizon Zero Dawn. Really loving this game, feels like a more mature sci-fi Breath of the Wild.
If you bought Bloodborne complete, may I give the advice that you should do the DLC bosses before you beat the game. Won't give spoilers but will just say getting lava shitted on in NG+ sucks balls.
Just ordered Yakuza 0. Will be my first Yakuza game. Looking forward to it.
Got Slay the Spire on steam after watching some streamers play it. Was on the fence if I was going to like it or not but then I ended up spending 5 hours playing it. Game is great, would recommend
Doing a second run of Dark Souls 3 with all the DLC. Last time I played was back when the game came out, and I played a straight mage. Playing a STR melee this time around and holy shit is the game easier like this. Didn't realize how bad casting was till I decided to go full unga
Did the first chapter to Yakuza 0. Very fun. Almost like part game part movie which I have zero complaints with. Fighting is a lot of fun, somewhat reminds me of Sleeping Dogs which I loved.
tried Pubg out for the Xbox, since none of my casual rl buddies play on pc
Hopelessly addicted to this game, despite the fact that it’s clunky as shit and looks like Ps2
So far I’ve only ever had one chicken dinner, but mannnn, game can get you tense lol
Been playing a lot of Fortnite, love the game, very good job by Epic Games.
Also been playing Legend of Dragoon.
Jumped back into Super Mario Odyssey. Pretty fun going back and revisiting some of the kingdoms
Picked up Divinity 2 last week with my girl. I thought it wasnt going to be for me but hearing her get pissed when an entire village attacks me for accidentally stealing a bucket or fish is worth.
Haha that is like the complete opposite of the Witcher 3 where you're encouraged to go through people's home and take their belongings.
Div OG Sin 2 is pretty damned good though.
Been playing Breath of the Wild, and R6 Siege, and Battlegrounds.
Started a new NBA 2k18 season with my buddy.
Just installed Project Cars 2 but not real impressed with it so far. It looks nice, handling is a little loose for me, but I did start with crappy cars. I didn't start with the go karts, but the F1 cars on the same line as them. Feels like they don't even get up to 100mph but I haven't been paying that much attention. Was looking for some competition for Forza, since my buddy got Forza 7 and said it's objectively worse in every way than Forza 6, including the graphics, which I was a little baffled about.
Picked up Oxygen Not Included Sunday night and now I can't stop playing it. Early Access game about building a colony inside an asteroid to survive by the makers of Don't Starve.
Subnautica, because who doesn't love being at the bottom of a pitch black ocean surrounded by sea monsters?
Both of those games look really cool.
Oxygen not included looks like a terraria style colony builder, plot twist, your colony is in the center of an asteroid. Like Terraria meets Rimworld on an asteroid, though this game probably doesn't rely as heavily on RNG events as Rimworld.
Subnautic looks like a beautiful sea exploration game.
Been playing Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
Took me a while but I'm FINALLY getting the hang of it. I'm on my 2nd Beast, but I'm having trouble figuring the last little bit of it out.
