Not sure who to use as a friend unit these days and it's been forever so I decided to throw up my BIS Olive (enhancementsplz) on my FL for a change up. Finally finished grinding my TDH BIS gear so I wanna use it up without Cloud.

Looks great to me. Last year's LNY event was fucking incredible rewards and farming wise. The units don't look bad either. TDH bow user is questionable however a 5* base magic focused tank and a potential replacement for Rikku (AoE Reraise LB and MP/HP refresh skills) are both extremely interesting.

This is Valentine's+ Lunar New Year fused together. Meaning next week we'll get a new banner with Yun, Ling, Cupid Artemios and Cupid Luna.

Yeah it's an exploration event. The final boss changes on week 2 and there's daily achievements to get there as well.

I've been Mia on this game other than doing daily pulls. But I got the new Sakura today so I want to try her out. Is she good? Also saw my girl Olive got her enhancements finally. Did all the ones I could for now so I put her up as my friend unit.

Someone in my FL has the new Sakura with like 1100+ INT, so I'd say she has decent potential as a magic finisher with her 65MP move. It's just got a hell of an animation, so syncing it up reliably may be a pain.

Ling's enhancements would be incredible if Feint/Daunting combo'd with Invigorating. She'd be able to be an incredible MP battery while providing Hyper NullAll and AoE 45% breaks all within the span of 3 turns, then on the 4th turn she'd either be able to sustain her own MP with Chakra or toss out Entrust (for Ayaka, Noctis, etc.), Eccentrick, or some other support ability. Unfortunately they completely sabotaged and destroyed her by making her dances separate and not work together.

About Lunera... can you give me cliffs-notes as to why? I have one of her but haven't had time to play or look into the newest batch of enhancements yet!

Basically, when compared to Ramza, you're trading 10% stat buffs for significantly superior HP and MP regen. Additionally Lunera is one of the strongest chainers in the game atm. Roy still has breaks and the strongest stat buffs but he's also still the slowest bard out of all of them.

To add to this GL Lunera also has access to 1-handed bow and instrument (if you bothered with the Christmas event and pulled a Carrie) allowing her to fully take advantage of her passives.
