A fairly significant part of PR has been destroyed. I would wager that outside of San Juan and the other two major cities whose names escape me you could see a mass exodus over this.

Without a doubt the worst disaster to hit the island in modern history. I've been saying "worst in modern history" a lot the past few weeks.

Maria seems to be done though. No indications it'll hit any other areas of land.

If reports are to be believed Puerto Rico is already dipping into Mad Max territory--people fighting over food and water and gas. No power on the island at all, and it will be months before restoration. I'm afraid if the US Navy doesn't move in soon with aid, we're gonna be looking at an unprecedented humanitarian crisis.
