Guys you forgot about this one! And yes this really done by Studio Deen and Production I.G. and really stars Jaden Smith <.<.
Pretty sure there was a topic on it but the tldr: shit show, watch at your own peril or high as fuck.
Tried watching black cover but that MC voice is fucking irritating. Couldn't make it past the first 5 minutes. From the descriptions a lot of this new stuff doesn't seem all that good. Only really looking forward to the return of Soma. May give some of these a first watch. Have been watching ID0 on Netflix. Not too bad but not that good either.
It looks like I chose wisely on my top picks. Juuni Taisen seemed pretty decent and Mahoutsukai is fantamazing already.
I've checked the Imouto one too, it seems like an extra erotic version of Ero-manga sensei(rip chapter updates..), but we'll see I guess.
Urahara is crap. Pretty to watch, but save yourself from watching that.
Imouto sae Ireba Ii episode 1.
Trust me, the episode does get better after the first 3 minutes, that's all I can say lol.
Can I have your dick for dessert senpai?~
I nearly gave up after that opening but the rest of the show wasn't really much better. I always find shows with trash MCs funny because it's like how would these people have friends never mind such normal/attractive ones. Watamote kinda spoiled me on that though.
Maybe they'll give the characters some depth (they hinted at it at the end) but what they showed episode wise was boring as hell aside from the intro which was um...special. The jokes were predictable and once the shock of that girl being a weird perv is gone she's predictable too.
The bathwater, the panties and the milk were weird af but you know there's people with those fetishes...but the eggs was just horrible. How can you even think that?
Oddly humor subjective. That said any show that feels a need to tell you when to laugh probably knows it's not as funny as it wants to be... so ya know like most prime time sitcoms
Children of the Whales Ep1(Netflix exclusive)
It has an excellent sense of world-building for a first episode. While many may find the lead character's endless narration irritating, it's well written and interesting. it feels a little like Shinsekai Yori. it looks really nice with pretty watercolor backgrounds and the animation, while not exciting is good.
Pingu in the City
Pingu is anime now. it's Animated by Polygon Pictures (Ajin, Knights of Sidonia).
Watched the first ep of Inuyashiki which is from the creator of Gantz and uh...well..it´s...weird. Not entirely sure what to think of it yet where as Gantz had me hooked from the first 3mins.
I thought the first episode of Inuyashiki was great. Way more emotional impact than Gantz in the first 10 mins then it gets super weird (if the OP isn't enough idk what is). I have no idea what's going to happen next but I'm definitely going to watch to find out.
I don't think it's ever going to be better, who ever is the voice director needs to be fired immediately.
