This really was a fucking ride. I had no chips in this, didn't care who won, the up down of emotions was incredible.

Saban remains undefeated against his former assistants. The fuckin GOAT.
Tua about to be the most ass-getting freshman of all fucking time
I hope your satisfied Bama. Georgia deserved to win that game.
georgia didnt finish. So no, they didnt.
This feels so good lmao
What a fucking choke job hahaha. I'm glad it was exciting but shit, this was a battle of who wanted to lose more.
Now that soul crushing heartbreak has ceded to just feeling "really fucking shitty" and having it feel like "just another Richt loss" has subsided:
I won't say Georgia deserved to win, but I will say neither team deserved to lose. Georgia won the 1st half in spades, Bama won the 2nd.
It's aggravating to have to wait to see if we can get back there with a younger team over the next 1-2 years, but it certainly felt different than a Richt loss in that I felt we deserved to be there and were equals instead of moonlighters. We made Bama use every card in their deck, and they simply pulled the Ace on the very last draw.
That OT TD was not a bad play call on Georgia, and we actually had the receivers covered properly. Thats Ridley's credit in getting out from coverage and having enough separation because it looks like that wasn't the original playcall for Bama.
Saban being 12-0 against assistants wont last much longer, and Kirby will be the one to do it. I'm 100% certain.
This is exactly the reason I wanted to play Bama, to see how we measure up. To know that we're 1B to their 1A in year 2...it'll take a minute but I can be okay with this.
Did a massive 16.7 overnight rating, making it the 2nd highest rated NCAA football game (Ohio State vs Oregon is top rated with a 18.8 rating). Overall, ratings this year for NY6 and playoff games have risen substantially. The playoff games themselves are up 18% from last year and the other two (USC/Ohio State and UCF/Auburn) were up 5% from last year.
I don't know how secure I would have felt in using Clemson as a measuring stick and beating them vs losing to Bama.
Playing Clemson for a title would have been great, and we probably would have won. Though now I am 100% sure that Kirby will have more than a few chances in his tenure at Georgia.
Bama and ucf should just play each other in two weeks to shut everyone up.
