Wow this is even worse than I anticipated lol. Full priced banners up for one day (nvm it ends in November lol), dungeon renewal is basically them reissuing old events with the same rewards. Couldn't they at least reset the rewards to make it fair for everyone? If you skipped these old events you're getting at least 20 mythril each day :/

Edit: I mean, this is great for new players but I wish they wouldn't treat veterans like shit all the time. Throw us something at least!

I mean, I started on the Selphie and Quistis event. So yay for the mythril windfall.

Really hoping Parade Float and that FFX major gravity Safety Bit returns.

Issue report: the relic selections for both the CT draw and the gem-only draw have been changed and now reflect the JP ones (Fujin in CT was replaced by Seifer, etc.). Hope you did your pulls before this although I'm sure it'll be fixed.

oh boy, the relics of light events is one of the last ones i didn't fully clear since i was still pretty new at the time. 4 more mythril and a 5* accessory, woo. pretty sure that was prior to getting any of the good relics i got around the time of 1st anniversary fest that let me start clearing stuff reliably.

Oh boy, FFTA right around Thanksgiving.

Kind of hard to judge what events we could be getting with this. These are the first 2 (and only, so far) FF1 events for global, but with some of the event banners (not the event relic banners) showing up on JP's timeline, that may make what to expect on global a little tough to guess. In other words, hard to tell if its the 2 earliest banners, or the two most recent. Also hard to tell if they're willing to go back to the very first early events (which didn't always reward mythril?) or for events with the most characters for recruitment.

This could also simply be reopening all past events attached to their respective series, since FF1 has only had 2. We'll have a much better idea tomorrow with FF2 if we get all 3 events.

I hope so too, but prepping myself to be events that introduced the most characters and follow the current format instead of a lot of the early collection events.

Well, as a 4.5-5month player, the incoming mythril will be nice to recoup from my dumbass pulling on banner 3. I think I'll be saving everything for FFTA for Agribae and Ramza.

EDIT: And the glorious accessories. Finished the Relics of Light, and that 5* accessory is pretty nice.

Fair warning: Echidna Elite in FF3 DU dungeon can put on some hurt even through pro/shell. Very potent damage for a 155 dungeon.

It can act back to back, and I was getting drained for 3.5 ST damage and then AoE quaked for another 2.5-3k.

There's 3 events i need to finish


1) The initial Parade Float that most Day 1 player never beat because of the last stage (3 mobs with 150k HP each) was really hard at Day 1
2) One event was Tifa Battle Arena, I could never master the Last Shizo Fight
3) I never beat the Bahamut sin fight from the initial AC event

I need FFII relics for Torment so i'm guessing Renewal II is better the nthe Oct 19 event for me. (Maria BSB and Guy SSB) will never be mine !

Then I would like some water skills for Tidus, so FFX or Renwal X might be good (probably the Event is better if i need tidus mostly)

Then i need FFIX for torment so many FFIX renwal is a good idea for me

Honestly the renewal banners are bad, they're basically overpriced LDs and you're gambling hoping to land on the few decent relics. If you need relics from those realms pull on the event banners instead, there's no antiquated shit in those. The only banners I'll consider pulling are XI, I and Type-0 and even then I find it hard to justify pulling at full price. (actually the XI banner should only include stuff from the first event so ... skip! lol)

Yeah, the smart pulls are on XI and T0 with their limited pools.

But also even then, at full price you may as well pull on the next T0 banner to not be powercreeped and I have no urge to pull on an XI banner with the torment done and still no Luzaf.

If you want water anything Rata, just pull on the next X event and save yourself Wakka SSB/11.

You need earth relics? FFVII #2 has Tifa's USB and Rude's stuff, FFIV #2 has Yang/Ursula. It's not much but better than the renewal roulette imo.

Sincei can't clear 200CM FFII i need more relics
