Honest question, can somebody explain the appeal of this to adults? I tried watching an episode years ago thinking maybe it was like Adventure Time or disney/pixar where it has broad appeal outside it's target audience, but this shit is for like... six-year-olds. There's nothing wrong with that, kids need TV, but I don't see what value this would have to anybody who's grown.

I just still enjoy cartoons. MLP was ok, nothing ground breaking. But it's still better than 90% of new cartoons out there and harkins back to the days of old like PPG. I watch it from time to time with my daughter but never went out of my way for it.
