So, the Pats lose (with Tom Brady looking old and their defense looking bad), the Seahawks lose to the Packers (with their O-line looking abysmal), the Steelers barely beat the fucking Browns and the Falcons barely beat the fucking Bears.

Sounds like a good start. Would've been nice if the Cowboys lost, but they were at home and didn't even get to 20 points and the NFL is appealing the overturn of Elliot's suspension.

Fantasy scores for everyone who didn't have a Chiefs player were definitely way down from what one would expect for the first week of the season (since it usually takes defenses a few weeks to get locked in)

Don't overreact to three quarters, against the saints no less. But yeah, the defense looks as tough as expected and the oline upgrades and another year of comfort for Sammy should be enough for playoffs

oh the saints d is the saints d, but I think people just forgot that before teddy went down the vikings were considered a lock to get the playoffs. And now that bradford has spent a year and an off-season with the team, and they've picked up one of these electric new rb draft class, they'll do enough to get there. They've also got a really favourable schedule
