That win was stupid stressful. First period was fucking awful but after that, just ridiculously tight hockey. Chucky making up for his mishap that lead to the tying goal with a great feint and pass to Gio for the winner

For as long as I've watched the Leafs they've never had early starts for western road games. It's always 7/7:30 local time.

I have no clue how Gardner didn't get a penalty there. He was draped all over that guy.

I think this is the first time I've ever seen a penalty shot called for knocking the net off.

I also don't remember the last time one player had two penalty shots in the same game.

Well, Leafs slept through another first period and lost for it. McElhinney didn't look great either.

That giveaway from Gardiner on the first goal was also probably the dumbest thing I've ever seen him do. And that's saying something.
