Sucks Muzzin is day-to-day. Defense ended up being quite porous. And still no timetable for Carter's return. I'm guessing early March if at all.

Speaking of last night's Ducks/Kings game (which thank god the Kings lost in regulation giving Calgary a chance to jump ahead of them today ), Andrew Cogliano will have a hearing with player safety regarding his hit on Adrian Kempe.

I hope he doesn't get suspended. Ducks picking up JT brown off waivers is kinda interesting. In order to get him we put Logan Shaw on waivers but Shaw has more points then brown. Guess he has more of an upside then Shaw. Don't know a whole lot about him since he's played for Tampa the last few years.

He's purely an energy / hard working guy who will almost never score goals, great at fighting and always super active in the community. He's a great guy and going to be missed by Tampa...just not on the ice.

Calgary takes the puck, keeps playing, goes on a 3-on-1 the other way and actually buries it to make it a 3-0 game as opposed to a 2-1 game

That's bullshit. I don't usually disagree with the penalties they hand out but this one I do. The hit on doughty was worse and pat only got two games. Hit wasnt even in the same league as the maroon one. I don't disagree it's a penalty just the 2 games.


This pickup makes no sense then. Shaw is pretty much the same role player as brown.

Whoever gets upset at this needs to pull their head out of their ass. He's a Minnesota boy and he's made it very clear his home state means a lot to him.

Drouin did play C in junior a bit, but never at the pro level.
