Freedom of speech doesn't mean freedom of speech during a live TV broadcast paid for by billion dollar corporations.
If anyone here sent a politically charged email from their company email to their company's client base, you'd be fired immediately and it would be well within your employers rights to do so.

The players that are doing this are making the viewing public believe this is this message is supported by the NFL since it's happening during NFL programming. Apparently the NFL doesn't support it so the players can take this fight to a median that isn't paid for by Budweiser.
Maybe these millionaire players should think about ponying up the funds for a public service commercial out of their own pockets. Well within their power, and freedom of speech, to do so but I don't see it happening.
