Eh, it's a wash. The middle Baller has never projected to be an NBA prospect as is, so at least he could make some money.

LaMelo would likely be ineligible because of the shoe, and there's already enough visibility on him that he wouldn't need a big college program to attract attention from the NBA. A couple years playing in Europe until he's draft eligible would likely be better for his game in the long run then a one and done in college anyways.

BG B.Ball peeps please educate me. First, let me set the stage. I'm a Pistons fan and one thing I love about their broadcast is George Blaha always calls things down the middle. He always gives the other teams their due. Yesterday I tuned into the game against the Celtics in the second half and it appeared as if the Pistons couldn't buy a call. Even George had some comments. In the end the better team did win but it got me thinking.

Now football fans definitely know about refball for the league's chosen teams. I do recall instances with basketball teams in the past (Lebron as an example) get the majority of the calls, but is refball on the court getting more prevalent? Some random games I've watched where it's GSW vs. whoever, it always seems like the latter is in an uphill battle immediately. Same with the Celtics. Or is it all in my head?

As someone who watches a lot of games - short answer: it isn't any worse than usual overall. Some confirmation bias is expected if you happen to catch a bad game

The two other Ball bros are close to signing professional contracts with a Lithuanian team. Is this a good move for them? Or is Papa Ball just fucking shit up real bad?

Krandor covered it - the argument at this point is if his coaching already fucked shit up for them. At this point, playing in Europe is probably the best course for them. Hopefully LaMelo becomes a real player

As a Hawks fan I love it. I check all the crap teams scores every night in hopes they are winning. It will come down to ping pong balls anyway. If we get Doncic or one of the bigs (Bagley, Ayton, Bamba) I think I'll be happy
