"Bump is referring to cocaine."
I love how the news story got it right immediately before having her say that line which will stick with people watching more.

So word on the grapevine is Cali wants to make prostitution legal
Women’s right, am I right?
Actually it's very womens' rights to legalize it.
It's safer for both the worker and her clients when transactions are handled in a manner where things are discussed and agreed upon instead of a pimp throwing a girl on the streets and saying "Make muh money or I'll kill you."
Most feminists will land on the side that giving women control of their own body and sexuality, including the right to profit from it, does more good than harm. While there is objectification is an inevitable consequence due to the nature of consumerism, like porn it's probably more objectifying on the whole to say a woman is responsible for other people treating her badly because she expresses her sexuality (i.e. slut shaming and/or victim blaming)
The situation for women in the sex trade hasn't always improved in the ways people hoped they would in other developed countries that did legalize prostitution. eg, New Zealand.

I think long term it would do more harm than good. I think it'd have a huge negative psychological affect on men and women. I guess whatever though. I wouldn't partake in the services so it would just be another thing for me to watch an enjoy how it turns out

Dickinson, TX is requiring residents who apply for hurricane relief must also pledge not to boycott Israel. The pledge stems from Texas' Anti-BDS (Boycott, Divestments, and Sanctions) law, but this this is the first time that it's being used to determine aid.
All relationships are, at the very least, prostitution adjacent. Good relationships are mutually beneficial, but it still boils down to x for y.I do like the idea though. Long gone are the days of dating and dealing with the crazies. We have graduated, we order our women from menus now
Should make prostitution legal
AND let them unionize, so they can have worker rights.
There's pros and cons to both methods. I prefer the bar scene more because I can get a better vibe of who they are, see em in the wild, verify their looks etc.
Spoiler: show
