After this episode the title of the thread should be changed to "Carl is NOT a bitch... anymore."

Ugh, they really should've ended the All Out War arc with this finale. They need to...
Spoiler: show
But know Gimple, they'll drag it out until S9. Can't say I'm sad to see Carl go. Sucks what they did to the actor, but his character's screen time has been pretty boring as of late.

Mid season "The last stand" trailer already up. That was fast.

I saw the deleted Facebook reply his dad made. Pretty shady of Gimple & AMC. Though I grew bored of the character, an off screen walker bite is a shitty way to send off a S1 character. The final scene felt so tacked on. Hell, the scene with the Hilltop guy getting shot had more drama to it.

Also, more build up wasted on the trash people with no payoff. They chunked the deuces when they started getting shot at. I guess I shouldn't be surprised with this show. I'm sure the fan community as a whole is wondering WTF Gimple is thinking.

The apologists are out in full effect dude. I was biding my time to see how this season was going to pan out, to see if it was worth catching up on the show or not. My wife and I basically realized we could watch maybe 5 episodes between the mid-season finale of season 6 and 8 and have missed absolutely nothing.
What's worse is that although the show is massively deviating from the comics at this point, there is nothing that they have built in the current characters that will let them proceed in a believable manner. It'd be like building up the Avengers and then for no reason have Cap turn into a secret Hydra agent during the Thanos fight at the end.
Once I learned after the first few episodes that Carl was going to die, I totally lost interest. And I loved this show.
How would you get bit on the torso like that anyways? Obviously they wanted him to get bit on a spot they cant amputate to save him, but logically, how does a walker get the drop on you and bite you there?
Watch episode 6 again. That's when they claimed he was bitten.
It wasn't offscreen. He was bitten a few episodes ago in the woods when he was with the Muslim guy.
Yes, with not-so-obvious teeth marks (because let's be honest, if he was actually bitten you'd see the bite marks through his shirt) that were hidden beneath a single spot of blood.
So, take it from me as a medical professional - where he was bit is a pretty crucial place to be bit. No way he could use that arm as well afterwards, for that matter, and even with adrenaline numbing the pain there's no way nobody notices that shit.
I mean I think carl's noticed from the time it happened. He just didnt tell anyone
It's not really lingering though. Everything since the start of the season has happened in a two or three day period.
i just got caught up. rick continues to literally be fucking magic. show continues to be fucking terrible.
As someone who actually really liked the last 2 seasons, this season is absolutely terrible.
watch carl be the chosen one, an magically be the person immune to bites.
Took you 10 days to think of the dumbest idea ever?
