- Reduce Catoblepas' magic.
Weak: Earth, Water
Absorb: Thunder
Resist: None
Null: None
Status Vulnerabilities: Slow, Blind, Stun
Notes: Sphinxara will appear after Sphinxaur is defeated. Eventually, Sphinxara will summon one of each add (one at a time). Only Sphinxara needs to be defeated to win. All adds can be Instant KO'ed - so keep that in mind.
Catoblepas uses Meteor as an interrupt when defeated, but none of its attacks are very potent.

- Reduce the Ruby Dragon's magic.

- Reduce Bahamut's defense..
- Reduce Bahamut's resistance.

Thundaga (BLK: ST 410% magical thunder)
Tornado (BLK: AOE 246% magical wind)
Stop (BLK: ST Stop, 33% chance)
(Weak/V Weak only) 凶 Megaflare (NAT: AOE 490% piercing0.50 magical non-element)
(V Weak only) Stop (BLK: AOE Stop, 93% chance)
Notes: In weaker phases, Megaflare becomes a scripted attack used more frequently the lower HP he gets. His Very Weak stop is a lot more potent at 93% chance to stop the party, so Affliction Break or Mental Breakdown would be a good idea.
A token physical attack, everything else is magical with his AoE attack being wind based.
Destruction Without Retreat ++ (U)
凶Soldiers + Terminators
HP: Soldiers: 40,000 - Terminators: 60,000 (W1) / 80,000 (W2) / 100,000 (W3)

Moveset (Soldiers):
Attack (PHY: ST 110% physical)

Attack (PHY: ST 188% physical)
Blizzara (BLK: ST 330% magical ice)
Gravity (BLK: ST 25% current HP damage, 303% chance)
Shotgun (NAT: ST 110% ranged physical)
Boomerang Blade (PHY: AOE 164% ranged physical)
(Wave 2 & 3 only) Chain Gravity (BLK: RT 25% current HP damage, 303% chance, 2 hits)
(Wave 2 & 3 only) Soul Crush (NAT: ST 266% piercing0.50 physical)
Notes and Strategies: The ST Blizzara is a little more than a token magical hit, but with some mitigation you probably don't have to be heavy on the magic BD here.
Gravity resist may be the order over elemental resist though, because with multiple enemies that gravity damage can add up quick.
Cid Mission: In needing to bring Laguna, he's probably best using shooter or machinist abilities for their ranged components.
Without a dancer for the realm, you may want to rely on a support RW for AoE breakdown application. 2 healers may be necessary, as this isn't the toughest version of this fight we've seen but previous versions can churn out damage in wave 2 and 3.
FF8 isn't low on mages and AoE options though, so if you're short on SB's you can probably get away using well hones summons or Ruinga/Meteor since there isn't a lot of elemental issues you run into here. Titan can go a long ways. A Maria BSB RW strat may as well.
Eternal Resurrection (Apoc +)
滅Adel
HP: Adel: 450,000
Target Score:
- Reduce Adel's attack.
- Reduce Adel's magic.
- Do not allow Rinoa to die..
Weak: None
Absorbs: Holy
Resist: None
Null: None

(Default only) Attack (PHY: ST 110% physical)

Flare (BLK: ST 490% magical non-element)
Energy Bomber (NAT: ST 400% ranged physical)
(Weak/V Weak only) Holy (NAT: ST 570% magical holy)
(Weak/V Weak only) Ultima (BLK: AOE 390% magical non-element)
(V Weak only) Meteor (BLK: AOE 342% magical non-element)
(V Weak only) Drain (NAT: ST 500% magical dark, recovers 50% of damage done, targets Rinoa)
(Rinoa dead only) 凶 Ultima (NAT: AOE 450% piercing0.50 magical non-element)
(Rinoa dead only) 凶 Meteor (NAT: AOE 390% magical non-element)
Notes: Just another Adel fight where clicking on her means accidentally clicking on Rinoa and unleashing your en-ice max atk Steely Blade by accident. Whoops.
Token physcial attack. If you can't fit it in, don't worry about Protect so much.
Same premise as before, just don't let Rinoa die. Know that Adel will cast Ultima on the 1st turn after every phase change, so time those medicas or magic blinks accordingly.
Jump Start Notes: The stats for the JS are the same, but take note of the medal condition changes. In the JS version you can let Rinoa die and not worry about medals, but the rest of the fight will have Adel in Serious Mode is just Ultima and Meteor spam.
