Looks amazing. Sucker Punch is one of my favorite developers, so I'm always looking forward to their next title. The combat looks awesome to me. Reminds me of Bushido Blade, with the chance for an instant kill if your timing and positioning is just right. Samurai /Ninja combat looks great, with different ways to play, different combat stances, weapons and ability to challenge enemies to a showdown. I absolutely love how Ghost of Tsushima doesn't have an animation for picking things up and harvesting flowers. No way point markers. Wind, animals and landmarks used to guide the player is a very nice touch, feeling way more natural than following arrows pointing the way. the Japanese voice actor for Jin is Kazuya Nakai, who plays the Straw Hat crew's very own swordsman Zoro. The black and white mode is a great touch, though it‘s something I might save for a replay.

Game looks wonderful, I'm just personally tired of you-vs-the-world power-fantasy games. I've been playing them since gaming as a medium was created, and going alone against a trillion enemies en-route to some final boss is just getting tedius at this point. Different strokes for different folks, but I prefer a team these days, even if its a single player game.

Yeah the black and white mode is very cool. At least it's something unique. And i do like the wind mechanic if it works well. Feel like they would've been better served making it a PS5 launch title though. Definitely could've benefited from the boosted hardware.

This will be something I buy with my ps5 so it'll be my launch title lol. Unless a PC version is within 2 years which it won't be.

Embargo lifts in an hour. (10 EST) I'm really hoping this is a knock out of a game. Sucker Punch is a great dev. Fingers crossed. Not gonna go too deep in reviews, just gonna try and get the general feel of it.

It'll also be interesting to see if they try and do some TLoU comparisons since that just launched.
