I actually can't wait to see this. The CG animals are so beautiful. Even if the movie ends up sucking (idk how you can mess up something as simple as the Lion King though) it'll still be amazing to watch.
I'm already emotionally preparing myself for being an absolute emotional wreck watching this. It was the last film I ever saw with my late mom before she passed away and I can't listen to Circle of Life without crying. Don't even get me started on Mufasa's death..

Top complaint that the cg animals can't capture the same emotion as the cartoon.
I mean it makes sense.
Disney just needs to stop, these are all becoming horrid.
Early reviews are saying it’s bad? That’s disappoint to hear.
Pretty much everything I'm reading points to a disappointment which make me sad as I was genuinely looking forward to it.
I skipped Aladdin but enjoyed Dumbo and Jungle Book. Apparently the audio for Be prepared was released and well..fuck it's pretty awful and that alone kills it for me I think

Some parts I like more, most of it I like less.
He should've tried singing, not just speaking very eloquently and loudly.
This is risky business, a lot of Lion King songs are very memorable and well liked. I feel like they did a good job with Aladdin but you can't always have a winner.
I love that the top headline on Rotten Tomatoes reads "Lion King Reactions: Best Live-Action Remake Yet"
Scrolls down and sees 56%... zing
The clip that aired on Kimmel is terrible and lacks any sort of fun. Plus adult Simba just looked so out of place for how fun Hakuna Matata should be.
I like it but i also hate it.
Might be too realistic for it's own good. I also love donald Glover, but I don't like his voice acting work.
