DC suffered early on from trying to tell dark gritty tales about Superman. DC heroes are demigods and need a story that reflects that, Clark Kent wandering around being sad doesn't do it for anyone. Wonder Woman single-handedly winning WWI, that's closer to the mark.

It's not that dumb. Imagine if they took idk since it's the avengers thread say avengers or the MCU and they just cancelled it and started back up again with what looks like 1/10th budget leaving this storyline hanging. Even if the new thing is still good doesn't mean fans wouldn't be understandably peeved

Wasn't the ending of the Teen Titans show all the Titans together after defeating the Brotherhood? Or was there more? I was pretty satisfied with that ending.

Iirc the end was a beast boy focused season and ended with some sad boy shit for my green nigga, followed by the revelation to the audience that masked dude, Slate I think?, was still alive and kicking.

Itd be like if the Infinity War movie happened, they ended the series right after the end credits Nick Fury scene, then rebooted the series chibi waifu style. Like the new product might be good, but the old one was good too and you left it hanging so why do I bother?

And I didnt. I havent bothered with the new one cause they left the old one hanging. Idc who is at fault, they had an interesting story going on and just dropped it. No thanks homey.

that's irrelevent. A great show got abruptly canceled and replaced with a good but inferior replacement. Just because in your opinion that shouldn't effect how people feel doesn't make it dumb.

The best part of TTG movie (which was great) was the tease for TT at the end

TT got cancelled because it wasn't making enough money lol. Its not TTG's fault for getting better ratings. Fans can feel w/e they want, doesn't make it right.

Best part of the TTG movie was absolutely not the tease for original titans. It was when they killed Batman's parents and made him watch.

This is not what happened.

It got canceled because it didn't draw enough. It didn't get replaced. The fact that you put on your cancellation grief goggles when watching TTG is your issue.

TTG came out 7 years later for god sakes. So yes, it is dumb if you hate it because an older show got canceled.

I don’t hate TTG per se’. I hate how that and the Amazing World of Gumball are on 20+ hours a day while I have to wait for months on end for 11 minutes of new Steven Universe.

Seriously, fuck Cartoon Network.
