No one wants Deadpool in a PG13 movie.
Stop it.
PG13 would kill most of what we love about Deadpool. Breaking the fourth wall and DP's kind of jokes would be terrible for the 22 movie build up to Endgame.
Its a fun thing to think about, but fuck it would be terrible in practice.
It's been a decade plus since I learned about it, but credits for a movie have strange rules in regards to way they are written. It is real important to the actors and in their contracts how they get credited in the movie. Being first and alone is obviously preferable. Getting that special "and starring" at the end can be almost as good. There is a difference between putting the names side by side or above/below each other. I think there is even a difference between using "and" and "&". In other words, it is a way to play to the egos of hollywood with some obscure system nobody else gives a shit about.
So it made less than Suicide Squad?
Come on now, we both know money =/= good lol.
Yes. It made an impressive amount of money. That doesn't make it good
But it didn't kill Deadpool, he lives on.
You guys act like they couldn't drop a funny-assed cameo of him and be done. Not like he has to be in the whole movie.
Ehh, I went and saw it in part the Fred Savage stuff, and was also kinda curious as to how they'd handle a PG-13 Deadpool. I'll be all for doing the movies Rated R, and several months after the run ends doing a PG-13 cut for charity like they did this. Was fun in it's own way.
Simple way to make it work. Ant-man sees him in a neighboring room while suiting up and asks who that is. Capt America says you must be seeing stuff and slides a door shut. Just a subtle little nod to the character, kind of like the X-men popping up in DP2.
CANADA!
Just have Deadpool replace the Stan Lee scene, or have him in a background scene, somewhere, in each one.
