AL Rookie of the Year: Aaron Judge
NL Rookie of the Year: Cody Bellinger
I'm not gonna pretend to be a baseball authority, but from what we saw of him here I think he's an okay GM. Made at least one pretty big deal each season, usually at the cost of our high-end prospects. Can't remember if he was responsible for the Syndergaard trade or not. Wasn't a big fan of constantly trading away prospects for players when the team was perpetually missing the playoffs and really not all that good.
I don't really know if he left the Jays in a better position than he found them in, but I can't say he made them any worse.
Yeah the Donaldson trade was him (for Brett Lawrie and I forget who else), so was the Tulo trade. I also just looked and yeah, the Dickey for Syndergaard trade was also him (although for how reliable Dickey was for us, I hate that deal a lot less than most fans).
Diamondbacks' Torey Lovullo is NL Manager of the Year
Twins' Paul Molitor is AL Manager of the Year
AL Cy Young - Corey Kluber
NL Cy Young - Max Scherzer
The hate and tears from LA fans is delicious
Read somewhere earlier that the Yankees were planning on firing Girardi regardless if they even won the world series. Baffling.
Giancarlo Stanton won NL MVP by 2 pts over Joey Votto
Jose Altuve won AL MVP
Too bad HR numbers trump everything else in MVP voting.

My NYY fan friend can't believe Altuve got it over Judge
I saw a comparison on twitter for Altuve vs Judge, I'll see if I can find it. It's pretty much the same thing as Votto vs Stanton though.
Edit: Found it: https://twitter.com/zabate/status/914580896308760577
It was Judge's post all star slump that sealed his fate. If he would have not had it or perhaps had a shorter period of a slump, he probably would have been a lock in for mvp. In early July, he still was leading in all triple crown categories and was lead swapping for BA lead with Altuve almost everyday.
Here was a screenshot I had taken on June 30th when I was almost positive he was gonna have the best rookie season ever.
As a NYY fan I think Altuve deserved it more.
Yeah as a Yankee fan who hates Altuve because of Joe Buck I also knew for a long time Judge shouldn't get MVP.
The truth on Judges shoulder finally comes out. Bad enough to require surgery. Can't wait to see his campaign with a fully healed up shoulder.
